Aside from normal functions, the new ŠKODA infotainment radios also allow you to control car settings via the Car Menu. For example, you can change how side view mirrors are set or the central locking system.
One of many interesting functions is volume adaptation to car speed. When driving fast on a freeway, volume automatically increases according to settings, and when the car slows down, it will return to its original level. Other practical functions include volume reduction upon parking sensor activation. We're sure you will find the RDS-TMC function also useful, which serves to bring you information about current traffic conditions.
Thanks to a wide range of inputs (Aux-in, USB, MEDIA-IN), infotainment radios can play audio files from various sources.
ŠKODA infotainment radios are connected to the vehicle's data network, and thanks to this are fully integrated with its other systems. Their theft should be prevented by a completely new protection system, which, after installation of the radio into another vehicle, requires a visit to an authorised ŠKODA service centre, among other things.
