The Environment
Protection of the environment is one of the greatest challenges
of today. Škoda Auto meets all the current ex-lege
standards: during the manufacturing process, the company
uses water-soluble paints only, free of chemical solvents,
and practices environment-friendly recycling of waste.
The assortment of original Škoda Genuine Parts also
replacement parts, the production of which does not burden
the environment with as much as the production of new
parts. In addition to recycling, the company’s environmental
program involves return of aggregates and parts; wherever
economically reasonable, nothing that can be processed
for re-use is thrown out or melted. Moreover, this approach
adds value to a considerable portion of the work and energy
that went into production in the first place. The program
is fully harmonized with the environmental policy of Škoda
Auto. |
