It has side airbags in the front and at the rear to protect the pelvis and chest, head airbags that create a surrounding wall to protect against head injury, a knee airbag to protect the driver's knees and shins, with steering wheel and dashboard located airbags for driver and front passenger protection.

DSG AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The Kodiaq SportLine can be fitted with 6- or 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. You can switch from standard smooth shifting to the S (Sport) mode, which will wring the maximum from your Kodiaq SportLine. Launch Control allows you to make a standing start as though you were in pole position.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
The Kodiaq SportLine can be fitted with 4x4 drive. The smart all-wheel drive system works entirely automatically. The control unit constantly calculates the optimal distribution of torque to both axles so as to prevent loss of vehicle control.
