Get back to the opening page. The KODIAQ SPORTLINE has a standard Park Assist that semi-automatically guides the car into perpendicular parking spaces (forwards and backwards), and in and out of parallel spots. The system assists you by automatically carrying out optimal steering wheel movements to park within the lines, you just have to accelerate and brake.
To avoid those reverse parking situations where you don’t brake in time in response to the distance alerts, the KODIAQ SPORTLINE incorporates Manoeuvre Assist, a new feature that stops the car to avoid collision.
The new surround parking sensors complement the Park Assist perfectly. The parking sensors assist the driver with parking and work in conjunction with all of the infotainment systems available for the KODIAQ SPORTLINE.
When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. Dynamic guide lines laid over the image show the direction in which the vehicle would go with the position of the steering wheel or indicate when it should be turned.
ŠKODA’s Area View displays images from wide-lens cameras strategically located around SUV onto the full-colour, crystal-clear, dashboard-mounted touchscreen. With views that include direction specific or 360-degree surround, the ŠKODA KODIAQ SPORTLINE’s Area View takes the guesswork out of tight spaces and (since it works up to 10km/h) adds a respite to slow moving traffic.
Want to buy a new caravan, but reversing it is the stuff of nightmares? The new Trailer Assist takes control when you reverse slowly with a caravan. All you have to do is decide where to reverse to, when to start and when to stop. A cinch.
The KODIAQ SPORTLINE can be fitted with a rain sensor to automatically activate and control the speed of the wipers. The light sensor activates the car’s lights automatically when the intensity of ambient light falls below a specified value (for example when driving through a tunnel or at dusk).
Open or close the door, start or stop the engine, all without having to search for your key? That is the comfort provided by the optional KESSY system. Simply pull the door handle and the vehicle will unlock automatically. Start the car by pushing the button located to the right of the steering column.
The Climatronic air conditioning lets you enjoy the comfort of an automatically maintained temperature in the car. The Climatronic has two zones, so the driver and passenger can set their own temperatures. A humidity sensor reduces windshield fogging and enhances climate comfort.
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead at a selected speed, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The system combines the cruise control system with a radar-based distance controller.
