product delivers online navigation and information services, the
option to control selected vehicle functions remotely with a smartphone,
and remote interaction with the ŠKODA service centre of your choice. Emergency
Call is integral to this feature.
The Infotainment Online package offers a wide range of services, such as the traffic situation, news, weather forecasts, petrol prices and vacant parking spaces.
A large swathe of Care
Connect services comprises Remote Access, enabling you to use your smartphone
and the ŠKODA Connect app to obtain information
about the current condition of the car and where it is parked, or remotely
to start the vehicle warning lights and sound the horn.
Proactive servicing ensures
greater safety and comfort. For example, as
the time for a service nears, the customer will be contacted by the vendor so that they can make timely and easy
arrangements. In addition, it is possible to call for assistance directly from
the car if it breaks down.
The Emergency Call is
extremely important: this function is
automatically activated after an accident if the restraint systems, such as
airbag deployment, are triggered. The car establishes a telephone and data link
with the service centre and transmits important information.
SmartLink+ delivers an
elegant connection between car and smartphone using Apple CarPlay, Android
Auto, MirrorLink™ and SmartGate. Whether you want to listen to music or receive
directions, all of this is mirrored on the central display. SmartGate provides
detailed data about the vehicle.
