Providing you with comfort and orientation during a parking procedure, the Rear view Camera uses a camera located on the fifth door handle. Combined with ŠKODA infotainment radios and navigations with touchscreen, the system uses their displays to show the space behind the car and to indicate the driving line, based on the vehicle width.

The automatic wiper system uses a rain sensor in the base of the interior rear-view mirror to automatically activate wipers and adjust their speed. The light sensor activates the car’s illumination automatically when the intensity of ambient light decreases below a specified value.

Parking the Rapid is easy due to its excellent manoeuvrability. What is more, you can be assisted by parking sensors integrated in the rear bumper, which check the car’s distance from any obstacles.

The “CAR” menu in the Swing, Bolero and Amundsen infotainment systems allows the driver to adjust certain settings in the RAPID SPACEBACK, e.g. the assistants, lighting or parking sensors.
