The front assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. It also performs an emergency stop if a pedestrian dangerously attempts to cross the path of the car.

Blind spot detect helps the driver to change lanes safely by registering any vehicles in the blind spot. When the system detects vehicles in the blind spot next to the car or approaching from behind, an LED symbol in the wing mirror lights up to alert the driver. If the driver indicates in the direction of the detected vehicle, the LED starts to flash, indicating the possible danger to the driver.

The hill hold control allows for easy hill starts without the risk of unwanted backward roll or need to use of the handbrake. When the driver releases the brake pedal after stopping on a hill, the HHC keeps the pressure in the brake system for 1 or 2 seconds.
