The headlights of the Škoda Superb Wagon use LEDs for all of their functions. LED technologies’ many upsides include their longer life and the fact that they are less of a drain on power. The optional Matrix headlights have hexagonal modules that are complemented by Crystallinium^TM – this brand-new special feature evoking coloured crystalline glass brings a new flair of colour to the headlight. 

For vehicles equipped with the optional Matrix LED headlights, a multifunction camera is used to detect light sources from oncoming vehicles. The Matrix function of the LED Matrix beam headlights then masks out the light distribution around other vehicles or traffic signs in real time with individually switchable LED chips in each headlight. This results in a perfectly illuminated road ahead and greater safety.

The optional LED Matrix beam headlights are complemented by the very best LED rear lights with animated indicators and welcome effect, incorporating diodes for every function.
