Our staff are also on hand for any queries you have relating to your vehicle. You may not find us where we always were, but we are still close by to answer any questions you may have during these days.
As a result of the Government’s announcement regarding a nationwide closure on non-essential services, our dealerships will be shutting their doors from 5pm on Wednesday 25 March, for the minimum of 4 weeks, or until we are advised otherwise.
Enquiries in many locations continue to be welcomed via telephone and digital contact. For everyone’s safety and convenience, if you need urgent vehicle maintenance, please check your local dealer’s service availability by telephone or visiting their website. Dealerships will be unable to undertake standard vehicle servicing during this period.

ŠKODA New Zealand Head Office
The office is closed from 5pm on Wednesday 25th March for four weeks, or until advised otherwise. We are still here to help. During this time the ŠKODA New Zealand team will be working from home.
Our Parts Distribution Centre will provide essential services for emergency parts when required during this time.
This is a fast moving situation, but ŠKODA New Zealand will continue to work closely with all our partners and communities, to ensure the wellbeing of all.

Is my local dealership still open?
Due to the latest announcements from the New Zealand Government, all Volkswagen dealerships will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020. During this time, there will be on-call teams available for urgent repairs to emergency service vehicles, essential business vehicles or the vehicles of people providing essential services You can still browse the range online and we will respond to any specific enquires.
Can I still contact a dealership via telephone?
With our dealerships currently closed, if we are not be able to attend to your call, we can still be contacted via email. Visit our dealer contacts page for email details.
Can I still buy or test drive a car?
To help protect the health and safety of our customers and staff, all test drives will be postponed. If you would like to talk to someone about purchasing a vehicle, visit our dealer page to talk to someone that can help.
What are my options if my vehicle breaks down?
Our roadside assistance is considered an essential service and will still be operating. Call 0800 756 322 for assistance.
Can I still drive my ŠKODA if service work is required but I can’t book in at my local dealership?
It may be appropriate to postpone service or maintenance work if your local dealership is currently unable to offer a booking. If you have a red warning light or have a safety concern regarding the vehicle, you should stop using the vehicle immediately and contact ŠKODA Roadside Assistance on 0800 756 322.
When will the dealerships be open again?
We are following Government guidelines and will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. At this stage advice is to close for a minimum of four weeks, we will keep you up to date as the situation progresses.
What measures are you taking to limit the spread of the virus and ensure health of staff and customers?
We are following Government guidelines and closing our offices and dealerships to mitigate the spread of the pandemic.
Why are you still running ads/ why am I still being delivered ads?
We have taken every measure to pause promotional activity during this close down period. If you have seen an ad from ŠKODA it has been in error, please send us an example so we can investigate further. We will still be in touch via our social communities but not for promotional purposes.
